it is not very hard .....you just show them how confident you are.....and its just very genral talk.....as you reach there you get a call for interview ......you are not even prepared for it .....and means you are done by the time your chilled head starts getting warm........
so relax ......they talk to you a bout your family.....weather at your plaace and your future goals......

Alright guys i know u must all be fretting...i was too...my interview was scheduled for 8.00 AM. Lets just say i was done by 7:40 AM... SURPRISED??? yeah i know pretty crazy huh!!. well the thing is that i got there early (around 7) and just when i had barely settled down from the cold and anxiety i was called in for the interview.... It started off with the formalities..how r u doing and all...then what have you been doing lately...future plans...your positives and negatives..etc...the only things that hit me hard was the how many fillings have you done and what is your material of choice...so there started my "VIVA" on COMPOSITES!! but don't worry just the basic techniques and stuff...So my point is that you know your stuff...just stay calm and talk confidently. It will last 10-15mins max.


Rest was all a Q&A session, a tour of the college and lunch at the cafeteria...

Hoping for the best now...should know in about 2 weeks or so...atleast thats what they said...

I had applied in the 2nd week of December and my application got completed somewhere in the middle of January...... My stats are 2.72/84/110 ( GPA/NBDE I/TOEFL)...... I got an interview call on the the 24th of February and i scheduled it on the 3rd of March......

There were 14 students who had came for the interview and i think there were 5 interviewers...... I was called in by the Prof of NYU... .... and the interview went smoothly...... First he told me that he hasnt seen my profile and will began with a general talk.... he will see my profile later on.... so he started with..

Q 1) Tell me about urself

Q 2) Why did u apply in NYU?

Q 3) Why did u come to USA for further Education?

Q 4) Did u do any observership?

Q 5) What are u doing currently?

Q 6) Since how long have u been in USA?

Q 7) Will u quit MPA if u get admission in D.D.S?

Q 8) Then he asked me, that do i have any questions for him?

Q 9) Then he told me that do i want to say anything that I would like them to know ?

That was it.

After the interview we were taken for a tour of the school and lunch and we were left after that.

Hi guys, my interview was on 17th feb at NYU, I got my acceptance 2 days back, my stats- NBDE-1(90), TOEFL( 101), GPA( 3.82)

My interview was very simple, conversation type, he hardly asked me 5-6 question like- why do you want to join NYU?
- convince me that you and NUY are better fit for each other
- tell me something about your undergraduation
- what are your future goals
-2 questions were related to my SOP

So, just relax and be confident while answering.
