NYU interview--who had the psychologist?

I have heard differing things re the psychologist (dr. h) at NYU. Does anyone have any first hand experience of acceptances/rejections after being interviewed by him? thanks!

i interviewed with him and it was an interesting experience to say the least haha. luckily for me i heard about his tactics before so i didn't let them throw me off too much... i actually thought it was a good experience.

i spoke with a lot of students there who had dr. h for an interview who had gotten in, so its not like hes a sure no. one guy i met said "he doesn't let trash in" which makes me start to wonder whether or not im trash if i dont get in LOL.

Haha, I had him last year as an interviewer. He's a nice guy, but the interview is nothing like other school's. Just be sure with how you're going to answer "so why do you want to be a dentist?"... then be prepared to answer that same question again a few minutes later haha. I thought I bombed that interview but received an acceptance, however I ended up taking Case's offer. Good luck all!

I was there couple of weeks ago, and two students were interveiwed by him. Hopefully you guys get interviewed by someone else...In my own case, I was interviewed by a very nice professor. My interview was very laid back and enjoyable. NYU has many faculty members and you never know who is going to interview you. Good luck! 👍
