iam despeartely waiting fr an interview call from nyu shud we call them and ask our status i eman in the interview list? if so whom shud we ask fr? mr. keven lee? bcoz though icalled them they said u shud wait fr a call thats it. pll can anyone help me in this matter? pl..thanks.
 
I think u should keep calling them..Coz i have heard that they like the person who is concern abt his/her status n show them real interested in their program..U can also send them an email abt ur interest n ur status of application.. Hope this helps!!! :luck:
 
Well stepping stone and all others who have 90+ i think you are underestimating yourself because with that score you can easily get into 2-year program. Though NYU is a very nice institution but with your stats you have lot many options.
 
Hi all, Has Anyone scheduled an interview on February 1st at NYUCD ? I got a call fromNYU yesterday that my interview is on Feb 1st. I am bit tense.....Everything is so sudden......!!!! I haven't even thought of it.... Let's see... Can any one tell me what kind of question they are asking and any specific concern for which I should taken care of....???? I will really appriciate your responces....Please do reply me ........Thanks a lot. And Good luck to all those who are eagerly waiting to hear from NYU.....

I am in a problem....my application is complete since jan 2 and i have not recieved any interview calll and my prob is that my Landline Phone is usually busy with some relatives at home visiting us...🙄 ....i cant help that...u know...
Please suggest me that should i call them and ask them about my application and give them a cell number ....if i get lucky to recieve a call...or just wait and keep calling...them to know about my application...as i did put the cell number in the Resume?????Please guys all of u suggest me...wat to do...i called them yesterdaya nd tehy said that did u recieve any notification of any type till now and i had got a completion card in mail....they said thats it and wait....but i m getting anxious...please help....shud i call and ask them to look up or stay mumb....😳 😳 😳

Congrats for the interview call!

First try to see the interview as a conversation btw 2 professionals..you and the doctor that is interviewing you.
Because that's how is going to be.
they will treat you good and you don't have to show them u are desperate(even if u are🙂

the Q are
1 tell me abt yourself
2 why nyu
3 why dentistry and not medicine
4 something professional..remember abt dental procedures and materials you worked with at home...not in detailed just to have a clue
5 tell them about the city and what you have read on the internet abt the school

DON't forget to send a thank you card!!
it is nice in the end to do that..even if they will not responde.

Guys!!Cheer up you have a big chance!!!
 
hi, i applied to nyu on jan. 4 my stats are nbde 1-87, toefl 95, gpa 3.76. i have been calling and they keep saying that my application is still under review and that i need to be patient, but it has been soo hard to wait. does anyone have any idea of what my chances are? or any advice? thanks.

Calling them is nothing wrong.
Call to admissions office and find out the status of your application and confirm your mobile number also to be on a safe side.You mentioned that you had given your mobile number in RESUME. Call them and ask them to note the mobile number in the application form too. Hope this helps.

hi... NYU has interview every tuesday and thursday(started from Jan 9th)... they call around 12-15 people on each day of the interview... so interviews will go on till march end or probably till mid april... so dont give up... u still can hope to c the interview letter in ur mail box...

are they gonna send mail or they give u phone calls if u are schedule to be interview?

i just know 3 of us(including me) interviewed on 23rd to have made it...

Thanks Docvanszz.The only thing i can do right now is just hope and pray that i get the interview letter.
 
Just got to know now that though my application got completed on 18th jan still my application hasnt been reviewed yet! Wonder when they will start reviewing.

i got an email today (& they said that i will be getting a mail soon)

I have not gotten a call yet .but iam happy for you ok pink tooth can u tell me have you done any advanced standing program and how long you have been working

hey i had 1 year residency experience in my country NEPAL...6 months volunteer experience in USA...thats it ...no research experience..u have 88 part 1 so i m quite sure u will get in call too..its matter of time only!

i too have my interview on 15th, i think u rs might be also on 15th, becoz they do have interviews on thursday and tuesdays only, but not on friday, if incase u like to share hotel room please pm me.
