There are a few schools with accelerated 3 year programs, NYU actually already has one.

Most are aimed at those interested in primary care.

Alright I guess. That's only one more year than PA schools, and one year less than dentistry, pharmacy, podiatry, etc.

Yes what we should definitely do is take people who need to have the most breadth of knowledge in medicine, and expect them to do it in less time. This trend is going to end well.

Yes, but residency is after schooling.

I think a 2 year PA and 3 year MD are dangerously close imo.

Kind of takes away from the MD...
