NYU MSTP rejection

Hey guys!,
Adding to my list, NYU MSTP. They said my app is currently in review for regular MD, but I have heard that they pretty much filled their interview slots already. I'd really like to be in NYC, MD or MSTP, but now I'm thinking, what was the point of applying MSTP when they held on to my app for 3 months only to give it to the MD committee so late in the cycle? Does anyone else have any news about NYU?

So they are not inviting MSTP anymore? That stinks. I sent in my app last August, and then last week they email me and said that my app was never sent to the MD/PhD office because they don't have my MCAT scores! The scores were forwarded on Aug 14, though. I tell ya!

Don't worry. They have only interviewed 30-40% of their applicants and will continue to interview until the beginning of February. At first I was worried that they were wrapping up their interviews so I e-mailed my NYU Summer Undergraduate Research mentor at NYU. He is an associate dean and interviewer for the MSTP, Med, and Graduate programs.

I'm in the same boat and waiting too. Hope this helps.
