Hello Everyone!
I am a California resident and I plan to apply next cycle for the 2012 matriculated class. I really hope to attend NYU. I have spoken with the Assistant Director of Admissions and was informed that overall I am a competitive applicant but I personally would like to further enhance my application.
My best friend will be attending Columbia in August and she advised me to spend 3months to a year living in New York with her and exploring opportunities at and around NYU and becoming accustomed to the east coast life style.
As I plan to spend such an extensive period of time away from my family, I really hope to apply myself productively.
My question to you is: What opportunities does New York boast, in close proximity to NYUCD that can prove beneficial to my adaptation and further my application?
Any advice or insight would be much appreciated! 🙂
