NYU postcard arrived one month afther postmark

Has anyone received a postcard from NYU or any medical school for that matter that arrives a month after it has been postmarked? I just got a postcard from NYU telling me that I am missing a few items on my application in order for it to be completed. The stamp is postmarked 09/28/01. Today is 10/20/01!!! At this point, I don't trust the postal service very much. Who knows if any of my secondary even arrive at its destination?

Oh forgot to mention that I sent out my LOR on 09/13 and they are missing from my file!!!

That is really bad. I would call the school promtly on Monday morning and fill them in. I'm sure (seeing that it is NY) that a lot of people are having the same thing happen.

The fallout from the terrorist's attack contiunes in little ways such as this with the mail.
