I'm interested in volunteering at NYU Rusk Institute this summer and I was wondering if anyone has done PT volunteering/observations there. Did you enjoy your time there? Did the therapists explain to you what was going on with their patients and did you get chances to ask a lot of questions, or did you feel like you were in the way and spend more time standing around and folding towels?

Great place! Did inpatient pediatrics through the Health career opportunity program! But I guess it depends who you are with always.

Did you happen to notice what the regular volunteers were doing?

Honestly there was only one with me and that was only for a few days. But it seemed like he was doing the same thing as me.
