NYU v. UChicago

I know that folks have classed NYU and UChicago in roughly the same tier for IM.

Was wondering, however, what thoughts are re: head-to-head comparison btwn the two programs?

I'm neutral re: city; more concerned about quality, opportunities, and resident support.

Also, I'm prelim.... But have been judging prelim programs by quality of categorical IM.

Would love opinions!

so i'd go with Univ of Chicago....

Doc ZZ, why Jordan v. Ewing? Three-pointers? Defense? Offense?

(actually, i know nothing about basketball so struggling with the analogy here!)

but specifics? I haven't been able to peruse their fellowship lists but as I'm prelim, am more concerned with teaching, resident quality, etc.... I want to make the most of my prelim!
