NYU vs WashU

I’d go with NYU. Being close to family and SO while getting a top notch education with a full tuition scholarship can’t be beaten. Part of me wants you to go to WashU since I’m on the WL at NYU lol, but I think NYU is the better option for you. Congrats!

I'm an MS4 at NYU... I would say if you don't mind the extra debt, NYU all the way. wrt research networking and opportunities, nyc is the best city in the country... it's located in a pretty nice part of manhattan, so that's why i mention the extra debt... I live in Murray Hill and I pay $4000 for a studio, and most of my classmates are paying high $2000s to low $3000s to stay local... some live wayyy uptown, but its kinda sketchy, others ride the ferry every day to long island which kinda sucks but it saves a lot of money...food in nyc is also very expensive, but getting around is super convenient w the subway... st Louis would be a lottt cheaper wrt living expenses

Thanks for the input! St. Louis is a LOT cheaper but I received a full tuition scholarship to NYU so the overall cost of attendance would be reasonable.

Oh... in that case, go to NYU. The research opportunities are amazing and New York is super fun for when you do have free time
