NYU wait list

Does anyone know anything about the NYU wait list? Does it tend to go anywhere? Wondering what there is... didn't get anything else I was hoping for (don't want to stay at the same place I did undergrad!), and hoping I didn't get on the wait list by sending a half-begging letter! Anyone know anything? Any opinions on staying at the same place for another eight years?

NYU tends to utilize their wait-list, from what I understand. I think they aim for a class size of ~20? and go through about that many waitlist positions in addition to the first accepted blob.

they haven't scheduled it yet.
