Hey guys, I've been browsing this site for about a month and it is fantastic! I've been waitlisted at NYU and have looked for posts dealing with recent updates but I have not found any. Did anyone hear any news?

Why not take an accelerated one year master's program at Barry University? In the Option I-1 year, you enroll in classes that parallel the first year of medical and dental studies. Over the past 25 years, 78% of all Option I Program graduates have gained admission to allopathic, osteopathic, dental, and podiatric schools. In 2007, 14 Option I-1 year were admitted to NSU-CDM c/o 2012 which is a very high percentage! In 2008, 72 out of 78 of our graduates (92%) were accepted to medical or dental school for the fall 2009 semester. We have a long history of preparing students for medical / dental schools.

those barry stats are " cooked up" a bit dont you think. I think those numbers include students going to carribean schools as well. We all know stats can be misleading.

There will be a **** load of space opening in April when the second deposit is due. Because there are many many people who hear from NYU on Dec 1st but then end up getting admissions elsewhere after.
So just be patient, every one will get in.
