OB/GYN applying for DEA number

When applying for a DEA number which schedules should I choose? All that are shown for practitioner? ie II thru V, for example 2 2N 3 3N 4 5

Yes! Be sure to check and see if your state requires a state dea registration as well!

Just pick everything except I, which is research stuff only. The DEA really just wants your money. They are pretty quick about processing the initial application, and renewals can be done by computer.

As Global Disrobal mentioned, check your individual state requirement also. For example NJ requires what they call CDS registration. More money making stuff with quasi-legitimacy.

However having a DEA number is required for credentialing at many places.
