That's what happens when older people with pre-existing conditions went decades without insurance and all of a sudden can use it.

I hope this nonsense stops some day and they just do single payer healthcare.

Yes, I'm not sure why anyone is surprised about this? Of course "Obamacare" patients are sicker and using more resources, these are the people who couldn't access insurance at any price before, and who most of the time couldn't pay for their own care. The murky middle which the US often prefers is usually the worst option. We either need to go to a true single payer healthcare system as done in pretty much every other civilized country, or go to a true capitalist/anarchist system without any regulations expensive or otherwise, where anyone can call themselves a health care provider.
