Alrighty folks, its that time and since I begin applying next month, I figured I should nail down all the schools I want to apply to.
Therefore I turn to you the wonderful SDN community, for advise and counsel.
Texas Resident
cGPA: 3.54
sGPA: 3.35
DAT (AA/TS/PAT/RC): 21/20/24/26 (none under 17)
ECs:
Great LORs
100+ shadowing hours, most with GP, ortho assisting starting in May during my gap year
~3600 hours volunteer work (both in and out of healthcare, mostly out)
380 hours of research experience with 1 publication (not first author) and 3 poster presentations at local and national meetings
Worked through college, part-time and full-time
Quadrilingual (English, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish)
Played D1 Ultimate Frisbee with college team
School list:
Baylor, UT Houston, UT San Antonio, Loma Linda, UNE, Tufts, Creighton, Buffalo, Penn, Roseman
I did not take general anatomy during undergrad as it was not required for my major and it was too late in the game after my decision to apply to dental school to take it so I can't apply to programs that require it.
I'm looking to add a couple more public programs that switches to in-state tuition after the first year.
What say you?
