observation hours/experience

Hi,

I was wondering how others gained experience for PT school while working full time? It seems that PT clinics only are open M-F 8-5 right when I working.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Any clinics open on weekends or is there a hospital rehab department you could get obs. hours? Besides, I think it's nice to have a little variety.

most hospitals and outpatient centers affiliated with hospitals rotate weekends so you shouldn't have a problem. to get in hours at other places, you use your off days and vacation time.. lol

You could also look into PT's who provide sporting coverage. Here in Aus it is often the case that private practices have some affiliation to a local sports team and they provide the sporting coverage for that on weekends
