Observation Hours/Volunteer Hours

I will have 50 observation hours and 320 volunteer hours by the time I am ready to apply for dental school. I have a full time job during the days which means I can only feasibly shadow dentists on Fridays (and I am also studying for the DAT). I plan to apply to Creighton University, University of Iowa, Marquette University, and University of Nebraska-Lincoln for dental school. I could not find specific observation hour or volunteer hours listed on the school's website. Are these hours enough or should I try to do more?

On the real though, I think your volunteer hours are solid, but I would aim for at least 100+ observation hours and it's even more impressive if you can get them in a variety of specialties.
 
Observe more to improve your application. It is recommended to observe multiple practices, each practice has their own philosophy and patient pool.
 
Get about 50 more shadowing hours.
