Sounds stupid but I have no clue.. Do you know if for the QR part students are allowed to use a sheet of paper to make calculations?

They give you 2 sheets of something to write on (paper, laminated paper, dry erase board) for the whole test, including QR.

Another obvious question.. are any formulas provided? specifically for QR and gen chem? thanks.

No formulas are provided for any portion of the examination. You will, however, have a 15 minute tutorial before the exam starts. During that time you can write down all the formulas and stuff you want.

wow, did i totally miss this when i took my exam??😴 these 15 mins before the QR section, do they count against your time? or are they, shall we say, 'freebie minutes' that don't subtract from the total amount of time you have on QR?

No, you did not miss a thing. The 15 minute tutorial takes place before the EXAM itself starts, not the QR section specifically.
