Hi everyone,

I was told that Chad's videos are all you need but that's assuming the avg student remembers a concept here or there right? I took ochem 2 years ago but unfortunately, I don't remember much. Hell, I don't think I remember anything. :/
I'm afraid Chad's might not be enough and that I was thinking of using Khan Academy first followed by Ochem 1 and 2 as a Second Language by David Klein.

Can anyone advise me whether or not this is a good idea or if I should just use Chad's and do a bunch of problems? I really want to kick the crap out of this section on the DAT since I got C's in the classes.

Thank you!

All you need is Chad's videos, all the information needed for this section is explained in his videos. If you have trouble remembering the concepts then take notes while watching and rewatch them if needed. Then do his quizzes to reinforce the concept but not right after watching the video (too easy that way and youll be going off short term memory). Followed by destroyer (hard but reaction maps are very helpful) and then bootcamp (easier than destroyer and representative to the DAT). This is how I approached Ochem and so far I've gotten a 27 and 30 on Ochem exam 1 and 2 on bootcamp, respectively. Have yet to finish the rest, hope this helps!

Chad and bootcamp is all you need. I took orgo 2 years ago as well and still ended up with a 26 in orgo. Even when I took the ochem class, I never understood a single thing and just went with the flow and finished the class. So when I was watching chad's videos, it was basically me learning ochem from scratch. So I think chad's videos are definitely enough.

Destroyer, Odyssey and Schaums outlines are good. They have lots practise problems.

I would use the destroyer and if you are seriously having trouble I would even recommend the Orgo odyssey. That would get you in the best shape.
