Hey y'all , I am looking for some input on how to make this decision. I have been fortunate to have been accepted to both OCOM and RVU MCOM. I have an upcoming interview with Burrell Melbourne but am unsure of where they rank in this discussion. My home state is Florida and I would love to stay here but I would like to pursue non primary care specialty. Any advice or input is appreciated.

Pros
- Located in my home state near my undergrad.
- Have deep ties in the area to pursue Orthopedic Research
- Beautiful and modern campus
- In state rotation sites with decent hospital Programs
Cons
- Not established
- heard they do not encourage taking Step exams but I have no proof on this matter.
- Virtual Cadaver lab , this is the main con for me . I think they are implementing virtual reality tech with Apple Vision Pros.
RVU MCOM
Pros
- RVU has established program with match rates into competitive specialties
- Research opportunities encouraged
- Encouraged to take Step Exams alongside Comlex
- Actual Cadaver Labs
- Beautiful and Modern campus
Cons
- Questionable Rotation sites
- Move from Florida to Billings
