OCOM VS RVU MCOM

Hey y'all , I am looking for some input on how to make this decision. I have been fortunate to have been accepted to both OCOM and RVU MCOM. I have an upcoming interview with Burrell Melbourne but am unsure of where they rank in this discussion. My home state is Florida and I would love to stay here but I would like to pursue non primary care specialty. Any advice or input is appreciated.

OCOM
Pros

• Located in my home state near my undergrad.
• Have deep ties in the area to pursue Orthopedic Research
• Beautiful and modern campus
• In state rotation sites with decent hospital Programs

Cons

• Not established
• heard they do not encourage taking Step exams but I have no proof on this matter.
• Virtual Cadaver lab , this is the main con for me . I think they are implementing virtual reality tech with Apple Vision Pros.

RVU MCOM
Pros

• RVU has established program with match rates into competitive specialties
• Research opportunities encouraged
• Encouraged to take Step Exams alongside Comlex
• Actual Cadaver Labs
• Beautiful and Modern campus

Cons

• Questionable Rotation sites
• Move from Florida to Billings

Summary: Would love some input from you guys and maybe some students also. If anyone can advise where BCOM ranks in here feel free to ! Thank you
