School is starting soon at OCPM. Is anyone going and what are you guys missing in your admission file?
I am pretty anxious and the same time excited.
Any fun facts about Cleveland?

I heard it was nicknamed "the mistake on the lake" and rated the poorest city in america. I went one time and there were mad spooks chilling on the streets, reminds me of North Minneapolis. I avoid that part of the city like swineflu. Also the Cuyahoga river actually caught on fire a few times due to pollution lol  Freaking crazy!!!

At least they have LeBron James👍

ill be starting there shortly. my file is complete. i think the city is great. for anyone who has spent some time in the city they know there is a whole lot to do and see. though it used to be polluted the lake has made a turn around and if you dont need to go swimming in it its still great to look at. the sports teams are entertaining. going out at night is pretty good too. ive seen very few sketchy people.. especially in comparison to other cities. it's not the best city in the country but its not too bad by my standards. for the limited number of times we will go to the city it should be a lot of fun.

Funny you mention the river catching on fire. There was just an article today about the progress made over the last 40 years.

I hope to see you there if all is well, i was in Cleveland not long ago for my 1st time, i did enjoy the little bit i saw, i hope the city will keep getting better.
See you there

Cleveland is pretty boring. I know all cities have stuff to do if you seek them, but compared to other cities I've lived in and visited Cle is lame! Can't wait to high tail it outta here.

You're the smartest one in this thread!!!

Sure isn't Minnesota around here. If you're going to miss year round ice fishing and NASCAR then stick to Minnesota.

Pittsburgh is only an hour and a half away...............never mind!

haha deff not kentucky or utah. im not saying cleveland is the best city there is but i dont think its too bad compared to other cities in the country. obviously cant compate to LA, NYC, Phili etc. but ill take any city with major league teams. why hasnt anyone said anything about the snow? i figured someone would have a complaint about that.

I suggest you buy a snow shovel now and keep in the trunk of your car all winter. Youll never know when a snow plow will plow your car into a six foot snow drift. Try checking out west sixth down town for the night life or Litte Italy on Mayfield for some 'culture' and fine cuisiine. Lakewood is nice for bar hopping, running, bicycling or just going to the lake. I would not suggest stepping out on the beach after it rain due to the raw sewage that overflows onto it. Also there is a greek fesitival in on mayfield out towards severance in late august that has some great food.

Is there any place in the actual city to live that's nice? (ie I don't have to step outside my apartment and have 5 spooks come up to me asking for change). Economy sucks for everyone, not just the bums.

Yes, if you have the money. Cool down with your racist comments a little though please.
