Do they interview everyone that applies I have heard they accept the most students out of any of the 9 schools??

I've been to everywhere but Western and it was probably the most relaxed interview. Check the interview feedback for specifics but it was mostly smalltalk for me. I got the notion they accept a ton of people, all 6 of us walked out with acceptance letters + scholarship offers that same day. They have the biggest class size of all the pod programs, 125 students (the dean mentioned something about 135 for this coming year but not sure if that's set in stone). Seemed more tuition driven than the other pod schools - maybe because its a stand alone program - only offers DPM degrees.

I knew you'd come around...see you at cspm...we can vespapool

For the interview, do you get a information package? Or after making an oppointment, do you just show up for the interview? When I called in to schedule mine, they did not give me any information.. I don't even know what time I should show up..

I had somewhat of a similar experience (not knowing when/where to go). If I remember right it was 9 or 9:30. They give out information folders with information on the school/area. Everyone was really nice and the interview wasn't bad at all. As others said everyone interviewed that day was accepted. This was only a month ago so you should be fine. PM me if you need anything.

You should get an information package in the mail. It will give you all of the details that you need and a list of hotels that give an OCPM discount.

Of all the schools that I interviewed at, OCPM had the friendliest faculty, 🙄 maybe with the exception of David Martin at Temple. Everybody we met at OCPM did their best to make us feel at home during the interview. I was interviewed by the Dean, and she personally handed me an acceptance letter. Infact, she personally handed everyone who interviewed that day an acceptance letter. As long as you are yourself, and are comfortable, and don't make a fool of yourself (not that you will!), I think that you'll be fine, and will probably receive a same-day acceptance too. Goodluck. 👍

Same day acceptance sounds great and wonderful but says a lot about the school. Only 1 other school still does that - cali. Sure the dean is nice but pretty much everyone who applies gets accepted, I really would not stress at all. My interview group (6 of us) walked out with acceptance letters too, it seems to be the norm. The place seems very money driven...makes sense since they are a free standing school and have a huge class to fill.

You'll be fine, don't stress

It is very hard to believe that this school will accept EVERYONE that they interview. Maybe all you guys are perfect applicants? =). Do you guys have any tips or tricks for people during the interview?

I thought Barry did same day acceptance as well. Just curious.

As far as i know they don't give out acceptance letters on the same day. They may hint at you getting in, but a lot of schools seemed to do this.

Sure they do......It comes in the form of an email about 10 hours after you submit your application to them on aacpmas.

It's kind of like the OCPM interview, just a formality + to receive the acceptance letter by hand!
