OCs and Hair Loss

I've heard that orthrotricyclen can help people that have acne and most of these people report that their face is less oily. I was wondering if it could help with general hair thinning for females? I have found places where they suggested it could work but I haven't really found conclusive evidence. What do you guys think? Also, do you think estroven could help since it contains phytoestrogens?
