How many people found October 15 anti-climactic? I had 4 potential schools that I could have heard from today, but at the end of the day, I have no E-Mails, letters, or phone messages which put me any further ahead in the med school admissions game than I was a week ago. All this hype and no resolution. Anyone else get/feel cheated?

no 😉

but a lot of schools of slow and late and might even just send you the letter before any other notification...maybe you might get something this weekend...

To be honest, yeah. But I've only interviewed at 3 schools so far, and of those only 1 both is rolling and also had a decent amount of time to decide (I wouldn't expect notification from a school I interviewed at on Monday of this week!). The interviewers had a lot of encouraging things to say at this school, so I thought I'd hear something by phone or email yesterday. Oh well, there's still snail mail...

I really only had one school that I could hear from. And I didn't, so I'm bummed, too, man. Well, I did check my status page, and I'm on the waitlist. *sigh*

I have another school that sends out letters on the 15th, so I'll be looking forward to checking the mail, at least.

Hey AverageMan, I sympathize with you. I only had one school that could have called me yesterday (other 5 are TMDSAS), but I was really hoping to hear from them. I guess one downside of SDN is getting a little too much information on a minute-by-minute basis. 😉 On the other hand, it was great to be able to congratulate my friends here.

Hey, our day will come and maybe we'll each get our own thread instead of jumping on the Oct 15 bandwagon! 😀

Good luck!
Theresa

Yeah, I agree...anti-climatic.

BUT I prefer anti-climatic to disappointing. I mean since no one on SDN was cheering about how they got accepted to the schools I could reasonably hear from, then I just have to assume they haven't sent ANYTHING out yet.

Trying to be optimistic😀

I know a lot of schools SEND their acceptances out on the 15th via snail mail. I think today and tomorrow will be the big days (I hope...I don't think I can wait any longer!). Mailman...where are you?!?!?

No mail today again dagnabbit. Maybe tomorrow .... always tomorrow 😛

Tell me about it.🙁 I'm just looking forward to the non-rolling schools.

What are some non-rolling schools and when are non-rolling decisions made? The only two schools I could have heard from on Oct 15 were Penn St. and Drexel.
