So, I thought I had all of my secondaries finished. I was a little late applying because of my summer MCAT, but I got most of my secondaries in right as I got them. I was searching through my email today and somehow my email account filtered one of my secondaries into a different folder that I never use!!! I just saw it today, and was pissed off because it is a great school that I definitely would go to. I am not past the deadline, but I got the secondary about a month ago. I am filing it out tonight, and tomorrow if necessary and getting it right in. My question is, should I write the admissions office an email about what happened and why it took me so long to get it in? I don't want to seem like an idiot who can't check his email, but I don't want them to think I put off their secondary until the last minute. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Always something right?

Personally, I would just send in the secondary asap and let it be. You're still well within the time frame that most people are submitting their apps, and you will by no means be the last one in. I could be wrong, but I doubt that any admissions office would handle your application any differently if you told them the situation. If this is a school that you really want to go to, then the best advice I can give is to write a kick ass secondary - I think it's better to take an extra day or two and make it really good than it is to rush through it just to get it in. Good luck!

I agree. You're not past the deadline, so just get it in.
