This may be a strange question - but I'm wondering if anyone has a rough idea of the current practicing anesthesiologists in America (number-wise). Tried looking it up to no avail ... Thanks

Last time I checked, ASA had ~33,000 members (not all of whom are active, practicing anesthesiologists).

And not all practicing American anesthesiologists are ASA members.
