I was curious if anyone knows if there is a limit of how many LORS we can use for our composite letter. Is it the same 3 science and 1 dental limit for submitting individual letters? Or can we use more letters than this?

Thanks!

It would depend on the rules laid out by the committee that is writing the composite letter. For my school, it was 3-5 letters, although they stressed that you should only include a 5th one if it really adds something different. Some dental schools will allow you to submit a committee letter plus one supplemental letter (eg, from a dentist), but you need to check with each dental school for this.

+1 - same for my school. They don't want to read more than they have too + the schools are only going to read what they have to also. Remember they get hundreds to thousands of applications and times that by 3-5 letters an application!

Our committee takes 5 letters to make a composite one. Contact your school's pre-health committee and ask them how many they want or need.

My composite letter is being written by my advisor who is letting me submit however many as I wish. I was just curious the stance of AADSAS or the popular position of adcoms on the matter.
