# of passages in VR section change?

Can someone tell me if the number of passages in the verbal section change from test to test? Could I get 5 passages in one test and 8 in another? I'm a very slow reader and am trying to determine how I need to distribute my time.

Sorry for the dumb question guys. I did try to run a search.

in addition, before the VR section begins, the AAMC tells you explicitly how many passages the particular exam has

7 seems to be the number for every exam; however, should it be 5 or 8 as you wonder, the exam will tell you explicitly before the timer begins
