Hey guys,

I'm wondering something. So I applied to about 30 programs, some very recently. I did not apply to certain states like Texas or California since I have no connection and don't think I'd get interviews. Also, some schools like Harvard/Yale, etc., I figure they are too difficult to get in without some sort of connection, so I did not bother applying. should I have applied to more programs? I am wondering whether I sold myself short here.

Thoughts?

It depends on your scores/AOA - if you're a rockstar, then you'll probably get a good # of interviews from those 30 programs....if not, then it's not as likely. Good luck! 🙂

Not AOA, not a rock star. So basically I should have applied more widely. I guess I could apply to a few more programs now that have later deadlines, but it won't help much now will it? 🙁

I sent my last application out last week. The school wasn't originally on my list, but I'd rather apply and be considered for a position than eliminate the chances myself by not applying.

I sent applications out last week too, and added some this week. How many programs did you apply to?
