I GOT REJECTED FROM TUFTS, UB,U.MARYLAND,UPENN,TEMPLE, AND NEW JERSEY BUT I GOT ACCEPTED TO CASE WESTERN RESERVE AND STILL WAITING FOR BU,NYU, AND STONEYBROOK 🙂

I don't think I did great on my interview. Honestly, the school does not fit me. I cannot see myself there. Im glad I am not taking someone's place in Arizona.

This reminds me of the time I applied to universities during my senior year in high school. I had hoped to get into at least one college, and after receiving a few rejections, I really had one chance left from the last college I applied to. I couldn't sleep for a few nights and kept dreaming that I was checking my admission status online. One morning, early in the morning, like at 5:00, I woke up because my dreams were pissing me off and I wasn't getting much sleep, so I checked my application, but it was still un-decided. I went back to sleep, woke up 30 minutes later, and I was rejected. It was the worst. A nail in the coffin.

But I got over it pretty quickly. Hopefully I won't have to go through that again when I apply next year to dental school.

Another rejection, this time from Meharry. No problem. Every rejection I receive now just makes me happier that I am already accepted. Otherwise, I would really be hurting with every rejection stabbing me in the heart.

UPenn b/c my secondary was not good. I guess I was being too honest on the question where they asked what I like the least about dentistry. I said I didn't like the fact that many dentists are businessmen rather than healers.

I received a letter from UPenn saying that they were reviewing my application back in November 2003, and I received THE rejection letter in February 2004. They didn't even give me a chance for an interview.

Yeah...I never really understood how they choose you for interviews. Because I didn't get interviews at some schools which I thought were not very competitive...but then got interviews at schools that were really good.

I'm still waiting to hear from a few schools. But so far I have gotten accepted to Tufts and Boston Univ. We'll see what happens with the other schools

i got rejected from Temple today. I interviewed in January. I thought it was weird, but o wells. I'm going to UCLA. Maybe I wasn't excited? I don't know.

My first post interview rejection came from Temple. I interviewed early (I think in october?) and then 6 months later, a skinny little envelope in the mail.
My favorite rejection was from asdoh. I got an xmas card online, and then 2 days later REEEEEEEEEEjected.

Schools continue interviewing applicants then put them on the waitlist. If someone decides to drop-out from the filled class, a waitlisted applicant will replace him/her.

Ahhh, I have found memories of all my rejections. Especially those that I received right after sending in my secondary checks to the schools. Nothing like having a secondary check and a rejection letter cross paths in the mail.

Of course, for every rejection letter you get you'll also get an acceptance down the road.
