I thought this would be helpful since many of us might go to more than one second look and they all fall around the same time.

Oh, that sucks for you that both are on the same day. Which one are you planning on going to? I'll be going to UPitt that weekend, unless something else comes up. :)

Since I have had the opportunity to see quite a bit of Pitt (my wife is from Pittsburgh) and UPMC, I will most likely be going to Northwestern.

EDIT: The only problem with this situation is that I will not have the opportunity to meet with my potential classmates at both locations, which could potentially play a factor in my decision on where to attend!

Can someone please add this to the main list? Looks like our second look doesn't conflict with the rest of them so far. :)

That's good for you. I wonder if they saw how many other schools had it that same weekend to decide to change it.

I got in EDP and the status page changes once that happens...shows dates for everything including second look weekend.

Does anyone know if Penn St. has a second look weekend?

these dates are becoming more important to track as they get closer, and as students are getting accepted... plus, I wanted it more accessable (sp?).

Bumpage

Can we sticky this thread? For some reason when I search for it with "second look" in the SDN search box, it doesn't come up! Instead, it's on like page 2 under "second weekend" of pre-allo search results alone.

Since I have had the opportunity to see quite a bit of Pitt (my wife is from Pittsburgh) and UPMC, I will most likely be going to Northwestern.

I live in Pittsburgh and work in Scaife, so if I'm lucky enough to be admitted, I won't need to do the second look. ;)

Does anybody know what happens if you can't make a second-look weekend? Will they accomodate you on another random weekend?

Does anybody know what happens if you can't make a second-look weekend? Will they accomodate you on another random weekend?

Based on old threads, it looks like some definitely will accommodate you if you can't make their weekend....but it probably varies by school. It can't hurt to ask--you're in, and now they're trying to get you to go to their school.

Does anyone know if Albert Einstein holds a second look weekend? I'm guessing not since I haven't seen anything about it, but i figured it can't hurt to ask.
