I completed at JHU pretty late (compared to the rest of my apps). They never even sent me a confirmation email, so I don't know the exact date, but I emailed them a couple of weeks ago and they said I was complete.

If I remember correctly, I sent everything in at the beginning of September...

This process is so weird, I swear.
 
NYU....that is beyond me. It feels like many schools I have applied have just started sending rejections...so I am gonna check my mail intently today! Pray for me.

considering all of the great places you've interviewed at thus far, I would agree with you british that this process does seem quite random and really unpredictable

and I'm sure you're not but don't hang your head about those two schools you're obviously going to have many options after the whole process is finished...

Hey, how do you know that Penn is reviewed by graduate groups? Is it possible that there are departments that haven't even been reviewed/offered an interview yet? I selected Biochemistry and molecular biophysics...

I would like to know, too. I have only been complete for a week and a half. I hope that they haven't already reviewed my graduate group (Chemistry).

There are also definitely multiple interview dates for each group, so I doubt they've given away every interview by now.
 
Just got my rejection letter from pitt. It's especially upsetting since I know its because my letter wasn't submitted on time. It also looks like Cornell rejected me since I didn't get the interview invite and it's supposed to be this friday.🙁

In other news, is anyone still "under review" at JHU? I ended up calling a few days ago, since I figured I'd been rejected and simply hadn't received the letter (we've been having a few mail issues). Evidently my file is still being looked at, although I've been complete since August. Anyone in a similar situation?
