If I took it June 22nd, should I get my scores on July 14th too?
Where did that information come from? I tried looking it up but I couldn't find anything. I didn't read this entire thread and apologize if it's posted in a different thread. If you have a link, I'd appreciate it.

I was going to type up my study plan after I took the exam but I'm not even sure I passed so I'm going to wait until I get my results.
My exam was so random. Most of the questions were not in fa. I have to agree that more studying would not have helped at all and I completely regret pushing it back a week. It was waayyy harder than nbme 7. The stems were so long. I ran out of time on every block except the first one. I feel like I wasted so much time studying and my results will not reflect my breath of knowledge. Luck definitely plays a role in what questions you get and whether you know them or not.

I'd assume the Wednesday rule applies. That is you'll either get your score the 3rd wednesday after the week you take it (how its is normally done) or July 14th, whichever is later.

So June 22nd, the 3rd wednesday for you is July 14th, so I think you'll get it the 14th.

With this logic anyone who took it before the 25th should get it the 14th. Not sure where those who took it the 26th or 27th fall since those are a weekend.

I think there is a chance everyones could get delayed a week.

K so I have a stupid question.. I took the exam a few days ago, and this has been eating me alive, so I just thought I'd ask if anyone can provide any input.
While taking the first block of my test, I completely forgot I had gum in my mouth until about the last 5 minutes of the block. I wasn't chewing it or anything, but I may have opened my mouth a few times so I'm not sure if it was visible. I took a quick break after that block and spit it out.

I know gum chewing is not allowed, but does anyone know the potential consequences of this??

I chew gum all the time, so it completelyyyy slipped my mind that it was in my mouth.

Anyways, good luck to everyone studying!

The FBI will be showing up at your door any day now.

But if one wasn't actually chewing it, and it did completely slip his/her mind...

I'd say you're fine 👍

Good luck with the scores!

LOOL. wow. Stop scaring the poor guy, he wont go to jail.

His Step scores will probably not be accepted and he will be expelled for academic dishonesty. I have a friend who got caught for gum chewing during the exam and now he works at McDonalds

haha.. This is pretty much what I was expecting.. So, with that said, keep 'em coming!

But in all seriousness, has this happened to anyone else?? I can't be the only ***** to not realize they have gum in their mouth.. Or can I??

All silliness aside, I don't think it will be a problem. As long as it remained in your mouth the entire time I doubt they will make anything of it. You spit it out during a break time so no harm done.

Took the 46Q/block exam on May 25, and just noticed that my scheduling permit link has disappeared. I've heard that this usually happens within 48 hours of receiving your score report. Can anyone confirm? Also, are scores still reported on OASIS at 12AM ET (before the e-mails go out), or has that changed? Getting anxious! Best of luck to everyone out there still waiting. 👍

My link disappeared as well. I took the exam on 06/23...

Does a score report link appear on the same page? What is oasis? I just realized how clueless I am

haha, not to be a flamer, but you sound like you got stuck in Kohlberg's 1st stage of moral development. If you're going to refrain from chewing gum, do so because it hurts someone, not because you would get "in twouble." and I mean this playfully, and I hope you did very well on your exam :luck:

Halfway through the third block I realized I had my iTouch in my pocket. Whoops. Unless they have laser vision cameras I don't think they are going to figure it out. It did freak me out when I first discovered it though.

It's the test centers fault for not making sure your pockets were empty. 😛

Does the score report also give you a subject-wise breakdown on how you performed (in each of the subjects)?

Yes, and the format is identical to the score breakdown format provided in the NBME Sample exams available through the NBME website (exams 1-7).

Optimistically hoping for your score report tonight at midnight? It's worth a check I suppose. FWIW, my permit can still be printed. Took it early June.

I think my testing period ended Jun 30, so that may have something to do with it. Do you know when yours ended?

took mine jun 22. eligibility period til july 31 and my print permit link is still there (although it gives an error when i click on it). so it seems to be related to that. sorry guys 🙁

wow I got so excited there for a minute. I took it late may, eligibility ended 31st may and my link is missing too. Although no idea when it was removed. Guess I won't be sleeping till after midnight tonight :xf:

Took my exam June 8. My Print Permit link hasn't disappeared yet. I will see if it will disappear tonight after 12am or tomorrow morning.

If you are about to get your scores back, good luck all! Don't do what I did:

We were in the middle of BLS training, and while doing 2-man CPR, my partner was doing chest compressions and I was bagging, and when he was compressing I pulled my phone out to check. My instructor was like "I've never in 5 years of doing this course had someone pull their phone out in the middle of this. What's your deal?"

I know, I know...

Heh Sean that is great. I am on Radiology rotation right now, so I won't have to worry about my patient dying as I run out of the operating room to get my Step 1 score. 🙂

Congrats on that great score again.

can somebody explain exactly what you guys mean by the link disappearing? I tried reading that thread but its pretty nonsensical. When I click on "Print Permit" it says "Application error: Permit is not available. The candidate may have sat for the exam or the registration is no longer active." Is that different than the disappearing link?

edit-sat on 18th btw

The actual link disappears. I've been getting that error you're talking about for weeks, but the link just disappeared within the last few days.
