if you are on multiple wait lists, get off 1 and accept their offer, but then get another acceptance off a different WL after you've already sent in your matriculation deposit, can you still accept the second offer?

Interviewed way back in September, 2010. Got waitlisted sometime in October, 2010. Accepted 7/6/11, after a short 9 month wait 😛
