Waitlisted at Emory, Tufts, Vanderbilt, Baylor College of Medicine, UT-Southwestern, and Mount Sinai. Accepted to UT-Houston Medical school. Really hoping to get pulled off the waitlists at Baylor, Sinai or Emory though!

Are you actually waitlisted at Tufts or just deferred?

waitlisted at uthsc-san antonio, ut southwestern, and ut-houston.... accepted to texas a&m, but keeping my fingers crossed at the others still!🙂

Waitlisted at Loyola. Accepted at Creighton and withdrew from Wayne state. Hoping to get of the Loyola waitlist...

Anyone have any idea when most people get pulled off of Loyola's waitlist?? They said we wouldn't hear anything until after the 15th.
 
Waitlisted at Wright St, Tulane, and i suppose technically at UCLA (but i'm not holding my breath there)
 
Waiting for UCLA and University of Colorado. Withdrew from the others because I love Georgetown, where I have been accepted. But ... I want to be home! No more east coast! Pleeeeeeease!!!!!

(No offense east coasters. I'm glad you love living there. But the family and boyfriend are in California.)

I too am accepted to texas a&m and waiting on uthsc-san antonio. how are you dealing with all the registration process with a&m. background check, transcripts etc. are you turning in everything while you wait for your first choice. or are you just waiting.
 
Stony Brook, BU for real, and technically Hofstra and Downstate as long shots. Accepted at Tulane, but I'd like to stay in the Northeast for my girlfriend.

i am doing everything by the deadlines given in the packet, sent my fasfa to all schools i'm WLed at and A&M, and put a deposit for an apartment in temple. i work in SA right now and don't want to have to rush to do anything before school due to work and all...

My fiance is a M3 at UTHSC san antonio, and my first choice school is definitely influenced by a campus where he can find the most opportunities for residency programs. i really loved all the schools i interviewed at, but i have grown partial to san antonio... wish you the best of luck!! i know the wait is agonizing!

Thanks albertarenee. My husband will work in SA and I am really hoping to get SA. I love both A&M and SA but I think med sch will be even more difficult without support from that sig other. Well if we both end up in TEmple with our sig. other in SA we can carpool sometimes between the cities. Good Luck to you too. I better get caught up with getting that packet ready. thx

once we get closer to figuring things out, feel free to send me a PM so we can contact one another! keeping my fingers crossed for both of us! no matter what, you can work things out! i had to do the long distance thing before in undergrad, and it's tough especially when you're used to living together, but you can make things work 🙂
 
ok everyone, let's try to keep this a clean fight. i suggest using the format of last year's thread.

i'm hoping the previous posters retroactively use this format to keep it neat.
Example:

Hogwarts School of Medicine and Surgery Harry P. (WL: 11/1. A:5/15)
 
Waitlisted at Miami (MD and MD/MPH) and deferred from Tufts.....

May 15th is right around the corner. Looking forward to seeing what happens after this much anticipated day.... will it live up to the hype???!

I'm holding an acceptance at another Florida school, but I'm also on the waitlist for UMiami and SLU. If I get off of one of these lists, it'd be a tough decision!

uthscsa is starting to move. when did you interview?
 
The one acceptance I'm holding on to is at Loyola; meanwhile I'm also waitlisted at UCSD, WashU, and UMich (middle tier ... pretty frustrating. Went from high deferral December to high deferral Feb to middle WL. WTF?). I don't think the latter two are likely to pan out, though!
