Every program that one interviews at should be ranked; unless one would rather not match than go to a specific program.

"Ensure" is tough to gauge. It's different for IMGs and AMGs as the data has shown. But 10 interviews (and therefore ranking 10 programs) is a guaranteed match.

Yup. And I told a couple programs the same thing. But everything tends to be ambiguous so it can be hard to know how you're exactly ranked. It's funny how we all kill ourselves to match only to end up working for 3 years for jerk attendings. Guess you have to really like the field to do that.
