I'm just curious to those of you who say that Midwestern is your number one choice...Do you not have an in state school? I interviewed last year at MW-IL, and while it was a nice campus and clinic, etc., the cost was double what I'm paying for tOSU.

The poster who said that is an AZ resident, which means they only have private dental school options.

It's my number one choice because I went to the school and I was impressed with their clinical training. I like how they take their boards after one year rather than two, plus their are no specialties at the school so you can get practice in complicated cases. Plus it will be the best for not only me, but my wife as well. Also if you are from Arizona there really is no advantage when it comes to price, all we have are private schools.

Do you mind sharing why you may not have been accepted last cycle? Your stats and ECs are very solid, which means there must have been something else holding your application back.
