All I hear these days are crickets... I have not had a single interview at my remaining schools (2 rejections), and I'm starting to get curious. Here are some stats:
Residency: Virginia
GPA: 3.6 both
DAT: 20 AA, 24 PAT
Applied to: UNC, VCU, WVU, UK, UAB, and GRU
Rejections: UAB and GRU (not too suprised)
I did receive a secondary application from WVU back in October?
I also have secondary/supplemental fees paid to UNC, VCU, UK, and WVU.

I have approximately 100 hours watching the profession (~60 in office and ~40 in Remote Area Medical Clinic hands on with dentist hours).

Help.

GRU is impossible and UAB is super tough. And UNC is even tougher. I think their interview are over in a few weeks...

What do your EC's look like? I would say that your biggest issue is that you applied only to state schools and mostly to state schools that have very low out of state acceptance rates. Out of your list, your only real chances were the Virginia schools. Your stats are right at average for accepted students and typically the out of state acceptances go to rock stars either with their stats or something else on their application.

Most (if not all) schools require a C or greater for pre-reqs. Most likely you will have to retake on top of finding time to finish physics 2 before school starts. I would contact the schools that accepted you and see what they say.

I'm not a huge fan of grade grubbing but I would contact your prof and see if there is ANY way you can do some work over break or whatever to get that grade to a C.

Why so many high-priced schools (I'd go as far to call them safeties)? Your DAT looks good and your GPA is decent.

I think applying late was my main problem. Im so disappointed myself 🙁
 
Those of you who have been accepted... Anyone get an email about a background check and paid the $150 to "verify" everything... I am not sure if it's legit or not cuz it's not through Adea

It is legit, but make sure the school you are going to attend is on the list. Not all schools are. Nice avatar btw.

Yep, it's $150 at first just to authorize and they don't really charge your card. Once they finish and send you the report they tell you the exact amount it was to run your background check. Mine was around $110 or so. It took 3 days to get the report.
