that is why I am asking if the people with LECOM interview know about this in their experience (how long the adcom take to make the decision for them).

are you applying?............or better yet, are you applying to LECOM and completed already and waiting for interview? if not I would keep your opinion to yourself.

I think you should check the school specific page for LECOM, several people have been getting interviews for august.

Hey! You are interviewing at lecom on 8/20?!!! Me too!!

And @darknightzzz I tried going to Florida for nova and lecom interviews at the same time but I called and they said that nova interviews don't start until sept 9.

One thought on the NOVA/LECOM interviews, depending on actual dates, maybe it would be worth spending a week or two in Florida depending on lodging costs, plane tickets, etc. vs flying back and forth. Jobs, school and such factored in as well. Airbnb or VRBO for late August/Early Sept and you might get some really good deals as the summer season winds down there.

Hey guys I really appreciate if you could give me your honest opinion about my application whether or not my stats are good enough for interview invite for this app cycle? 3.3 overall gpa. 3.0 sgpa 19AA 19TS 16PAT. ~250 shadowing and volunteering in dental setting, lots of EC, community service, clubs etc...and have >5000 hours in research . I'm non-traditional urm...thanks :)

You should be fine. Some schools have a 17 DAT cut-off, though... so PAT may pose a problem. You will get invites.

Based on your ECs I do think you'll get invites, hopefully more than one. Hopefully you chose schools that like research and are community service oriented.

Hey I honestly hope you get some interviews and acceptances this year. With that being said, I'll also give you my opinion. When I first applied I had a 3.3ogpa, 3.0sgpa, 20AA, 18TS, 20PAT and lots of EC (but not 5000 hrs research). I received 0 invites from 15 schools. I will say that I did not apply to more schools that matched my stats so that is something you should definitely look into to. Second, I regret applying that first time because instead of spending that year waiting I could've started my MS program one year earlier. After enrolling in MS and getting my DAT to 22AA/22TS, I received 3 invites and 1 acceptance, so doing secondary school to improve GPA is another option. I got those 3 invites after just 1 semester of MS program. Hope this helps.

Thank you for that. IF no invites, i'm planning to take more upper level science courses full time at a state school to raise my sgpa in addition to retaking the dat or is enrolling in MS program the only and/or better option?

Taking full time science upper divs is a good way to go, but you need to aim for a 3.7 or above in that year to really improve your overall GPA. I chose my MS because it was one year, it improved my GPA to 3.4ogpa, 3.3sgpa, and now I have extra letters at the end of my name lol.

It still says Recieved/Application complete. It was about a day behind when I got my first interview email until it showed invited for interview on the portal. My interview date is 9/28/15.
