Just interviewed there last week and I was super impressed with the school, their faculty, the staff, and the students. Yes, volunteering and service is VERY important to them.

lol although what i am about to say can make me sound resentful but how they expect new graduating dentist to volunteer and work in community service setting when they are saddled with 400k$ debt. smh.

I don't think it's frowned upon necessarily. But depending on how much later your interview will be it might not be a good idea. If schools do rolling admissions it might allow others to get accepted before you and decrease the number of spots available by the time your turn comes.

From my (limited) experience, it's fine if you have a valid excuse (traveling far and may prefer an interview on a Monday/Friday, have a test that day, etc). Schools select you to interview because they are interested in you as a potential student. If they say no to rescheduling, then you will have to pick which one is most important to you. But I don't think it would hurt to ask
