*~*~*~* Official 2015-2016 Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread *~*~*~*

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
My application was complete 8/13. I applied to 6 schools.
My only 2 interviews came shortly after I submitted (my state school and a relatively prestigious school)
The other 4 schools still have me down as "under review" or "app complete." - I really expected interviews at some (not to sound cocky).

GPA: 3.85
21AA 22TS 24PAT

Anyone in a similar situation? Getting kinda nervous with November approaching.
How many volunteer and shadowing hours do you have?

Haha it's not that big of a deal because I did the volunteering at nearly one place (well three different places but one type of program) over the span of all of college, which is why there are so many hours! And shadowing I did with one dentist for 4 months and another one for a few weeks. If you spread it out, it looks like a lot but it doesn't feel like it haha
👍

Bound to get some bad news sooner or later... Rejected at UCSF w/o interview today. CA resident.

Hey Beta what is your stats and when did you submit your secondary for UCSF? I apply there too but no rejection or hear anything from the school. CA resident here as well.

I got put on the waitlist for an interview at Midwestern-AZ. Does anyone know how that works or if there's a good chance of getting off of it? This is my second time applying and I immediately got an interview there last year so I was just kind of expecting them to give me another one again haha (I applied much earlier this time)

I interviewed there and they hand out about 570 interviews apparently...so you still have time for more. The interview group's weren't that big and I know some schools will still hand out interview dates much after December 1. So just keep your hopes up and be prepared!

You're so greedy. Chill. I've had 5 for like 6 weeks now.
How is it greedy? Did I complain about having options? I applied to a good amount of schools, and I'm very thankful to have heard back from the ones that did contact me. All I was referring to was hearing back from the ones I didn't. I'd like to interview at all options it possible before December. Not sure how that's greedy though.

****Tufts Interview: For anyone who has already interviewed, when you called did it go straight to voicemail? I have one interview date I REALLY want and when I call it goes straight to a pre-recorded message asking to leave two preference dates. If so, how long did it take for them to get back to you? Thanks

Has anybody received an interview invitation from USC recently in October?

Outright rejecting 26AA 25TS, 4.0 sGPA??? My assumption is that UCSF probably figured that you received or going to get bunch of invites from other school already... which you did! congratz! I know very well how rejections without interviews hurt, but I wonder what it feels like to have one rejection when there are so many invites to back you up!

Is there a list of schools we can get together that have sent out some (if any) official rejections already?

Here's what I have noticed:

UCSF
NOVA
Midwestern
University of Buffalo
UW
MOSDOH
LECOM
UK

Any that I missed?
