Bruh what's your problem

Side note: if I had to guess, late June will only include up to the 24th or earlier today. Last year's release was similar with "late June" and tests 3 weeks out or more were released.
I walked out of that exam feeling like I failed and counted 28 that I definitely wrong when I got home so at this point seriously doubting everything I once thought I knew :/ thank you for that info though it's helping me not freak out on my service right now, you rock

How about you go read the "Official 2015 Step 1 Experiences" thread and see what the 10+ 260+'ers all said after the exam: they felt like **** but all scored near their NBME average. The biggest drop of someone with 260+ average was to 255.

You're fine. Many people reading these threads are hoping to pass or break above average you're whining that "oh no I might not have gotten 99% percentile." Perspective man

I apologize, you're right.

Did anyone take it on June 26th? I had assumed that counted as "late June" but I've had no changes on my nbme page and I'm a little worried now after reading about people thinking it could mean they failed?! I was scoring at a 260 average over nbme 15-18...I really hope that no change on page doesn't mean failed exam...someone please put me out of my misery either way

Do you really think that they only change people's NBMEs page that failed and not for those that passed? I took mine on the 27th and have had no changes and I felt pretty good about the exam. You have seriously got to relax, scores will probably be next Wednesday for us. If you got a 260 NBME, I can tell you right now, you passed.

So how late is late June? I took Step 1 on the 14th so I don't know if that's early enough to be released today or late enough to be released next week. It's relatively late to take the test, but it's not like it's the end of the month. No, I haven't been checking my NBME page and I don't plan to. I don't need that kind of stress in my life, lol.

Probably up to June 24th at the latest, you'll get yours today.

I'm kinda wondering if they've held onto all the scores so that they can change the average. I'm very interested to see if the average this year will still be a 230.

Where do our scores show up? Is it on the same NBME page that has little blue boxes titled "APPLY" "SCHEDULE" "PREPARE" and "SCORE"?

Sorry if this has been asked a million times as I'm sure it has. I wasn't able to find an answer with a quick search on this site.
I think the better question is WHEN do the scores show up? I believe we're on the right page.

Didn't they change the exam because the average was getting too high lol?

Well they reduced the number of questions, but i dont think they've had time to change the questions. My understanding is that questions go through a revision process where they need to be used as "experimental" questions to determine their legitimacy before they become real questions.

It's all conjecture, though.

Our school put up our scores on our transcript page. 255. Tears of joy in the middle of the breakfast place I'm at to weather the storm.

congrats! hard work paid off!
when did you take the exam? trying to see if the "newer" post-may exams get scored within 3~4 weeks like the way it was previously

I'm going to be that one that takes one for the team, the one that isn't going to be the ortho, ENT, plastics, derm, etc. But screw it. The joy is palpable. I can finally enjoy the rest of my vacation before M3 starts lol. And trust your NBME's. Seriously. Much kudos to my school for uploading the results because I haven't even gotten the NBME email yet lol.

Hey Everyone Just received an email that says my test result is available. Haven't checked my score yet. I am heading out to the library to do so. Don't want to open it at home .. My get too emotional..

Check your emails and Good luck everybody !!!

Does this mean its coming? LOL.

Edit: 266 🙂. Felt horrible right after finishing.

Congrats to those who took it and got your scores. Any of you want to share post-exam "feels" compared to what you actually scored? I took it yesterday & felt like complete crap. I felt it went worse than the toughest uw blocks & nbmes so I'm ****ting bricks.

I honestly had NO idea how I did. I knew I got a lot right, I knew I got a lot wrong. It was kind of a blur. I wasn't super worried about passing, but I could have gotten a 215 to a 260 and not been blindsided by my score. It's so hard to "have a feel" for an exam that was that long and that brutal. I flagged 5-10 a section but I only flagged stuff I was down to two or three answers on. I educated guessed on a lot more, and didn't bother flagging stuff I had no clue on. I finished each section in about 35 minutes, then went over each section fully again.

I absolutely thought it was harder than UWorld, not even comparable. I only took NBME 17 but I thought it was notably harder than that as well.

Equivalent of like a 247, so like 8 below what I got. But I didn't take it timed, and I took it after looking at the SDN thread and seeing some questions answered in advance so I didn't know how accurate it'd be. I didn't want to set expectations high and be disappointed.
