Programs ghost for sure!
Is it accurate assume that a majority of interview invites will be rolling out in the last week of August/first few weeks of September? I have applied to 42 programs, received 4 interviews, 6 rejections and one "pending" message from University of Maryland. I am an AMG. Will programs always send out rejections or can they "ghost" applicants with no communication to imply a rejection?
Thanks!
Hello all,
Anyone interested in switching a date of interview at UT Houston. I am scheduled for September 14th and would prefer to interview on the 20th.
Please PM me, thank you !
Hi, Are you still interested in switching? If yes, Please text me your email address. ThanxHello all,

Anyone familiar with Nassau University program? Website has pretty much nothing and looks like it was a DO program previously.
Question...received an interview offer where the PD asked for a response. However, they ask us to respond to their personal work email. If I reply on ERAS will this go to their linked work inbox and presumably the same email address, or should I send a message from my personal email instead?
Alright, since we have current and prior cardiology fellows here then I guess the answer to this question is not hard at all !
When do IMGs get most of their interviews?
I'm a US-IMG with a decent resume (not the best but competitive enough for low-to-mid tier programs) I have received only 3 interviews so far and freaking out. Some of my friends say that interviews roll in around mid-September for IMGs but I'm having hard time believing that.
Can you guys give a little insight about this ? thanks
I believe that around 40-50% programs are yet to send calls. I have friends in IMG friendly programs and all of their programs are yet to start reviewing the applications.Alright, since we have current and prior cardiology fellows here then I guess the answer to this question is not hard at all !

That's what I keep hearing from current IMG fellows but not sure how true that is. On the other hand, some people are advising to start looking into alternative routes, like research fellowship or other non-accredited programs.I believe that around 40-50% programs are yet to send calls. same here. Just one date is offered, which most likely means that one guy cancelled and you're filling the space.I just started getting my interview offers recently (US IMG, all from smaller community programs) and they’ve offered me one interview date rather than a schedule to choose from. Unless it’s standard to do so, it makes me feel like most invites have already been sent out and I’m one of the last to get offered.

Don't get me wrong, that's still a good chance to match imo.
I’ll take them however I can get them lol
N=50 ? What's that? Number of programs ?
Thanks for clarifying. That's a little reassuringN refers to the # of program directors who responded.

Vidant, you’re killing me. Anyone else get an email saying they’ll make final selection next week?
Yep, I got that email. I wonder if everyone who applied was asked to take Casper.
