Wanted to add that if any recent test takers are freaked out by the difficulty and vagueness of the exam, you’ll be fine. I thought the exam was complete ass and barely finished. Scored a 790

comsaes / UWSAs?

No information on means or averages, just a score report similar to the COMSAE's. I assume they will save the percentiles for the end of the entire testing year.

darn. was hoping there’d be some indication of how people did and/or what people’s percentiles were for this scoring period. thanks anyway!

Between 620-630!! What a ride

Nbme 15 209 - 3 weeks before

Congrats!!! How did you feel the exam went? Just took the exam and I dont know how to feel about it. 60-75% I didn't mark, but some was still an educated guess/ choice. And the rest I felt less confident about.

Thanks for posting. What are you planning to do right now?
Well, I stopped studying for my surgery rotation, since I got pulled. Now I gotta dig out my board review books which are still packed in boxes after the move. I'm waiting for the official instructions next week from the deans and advisor. Final Comsae to take in August and up to a year for the retake. Maybe use what's left of my loan $ and buy Mega Millions tickets.

I felt ok walking out of the exam- better than my comsae. I probably marked 9-13 per section. I struggled on the OMM during exam but it turned out to be one of my stronger sections so idk how that happened

Hey, do you know what the passing score for COMLEX was this year? I'm hoping it's still a 400 but there was speculation about raising it?

Wait, I thought you are given a month to study and retake, no? And then you can continue rotations. In essence everything should stay same (even loans) - it will be just an extra month or two that will be pulled from your 4th year. At least that's what I thought. I mean you don't need to skip a year, you can just continue rotations. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you to everyone for posting scores! Anyone who took the exam and got scores back also take combank assessment exam?

Correct, 2 months will keep me with my class, but disaster situation is up to a year.

Holy moly y'all are amazing with those scores!!

And here I am having had Comsae C crush my soul a week before the exam and hoping for a pass....T__T

Focus on micro,OMM, physiology from now. Review path every now and then but those 3 are top priority.

Much appreciated! I'm hoping to brush up on Repro, Renal, the neuro stroke video by DirtyUSMLE, OMM and going through sketchy micro review one last time! Gonna be a fun week...wahooooo! xD

No idea what the person above you is saying, as I didn't have one single pure physiology question on my exam.

Pathology is easily the most tested subject.

I'm sure every form is different, but I'll definitely try to get through some Pathoma stuff as well. Gonna be a busy week haha! Thank you!

How much was your Comsae C if you don't mind me asking? I'm asking, because I'm in a similar position, but I'll be taking a new Comsae soon before going to comlex.

congrats on the insane score dude you mustve worked your ass off. did you have a nice turnout on your usmle as well?

I’ll let everyone know how an average Joe, middle of the pack student did in a few days when I get mine back.

I’m glad the pass is still 400.

I walked out after pretty sure I missed every question and running out of time on the essay questions that seemed to be every other one.

So we’ll see.

Always liked looking at correlations and how other students did. So here is mine:

Comsae D : 664
Comlex Level 1: 652

USMLE NBME and UWSA all together average (took all of them) - 244
USMLE step 1 - 243

The "correlation gurus" can tell you what that means in terms of how those about to take it will do.

For those starting M2 or even M1 I do not have any magic board advice, But my advice for the students starting M2 is to work your butt off during systems before you start studying for Step. By that I mean read, read, read, and read some more to fully understand and grasp a topic and not just memorizing. For example, understanding why in RTA 4 the K serum levels are high rather than just memorizing that they are. This way when you sit to study for boards you will just be reviewing RTA and not trying to memorize and relearn it a month before boards. I fully believe getting 240/600 is having the pure basic fundamental understanding of material. But that's just my opinion. Y'all can look at my post history to see I was not a strong student before med school but nothing like some good old fashioned hard work to push you above and beyond. Not that my scores are above and beyond (I see you 700/250'ers scoffing) but working hard during systems to understand material will set you up during board studying to review the material you already mastered which then sets up you for success on boards.

...Oh and also Zanki.

Good luck!

I got around a 510. I have no more comsaes to take, our school gave us Comsae D at the beginning of dedicated 🙁

Which comsae are you planning to take next?

621! I am so happy to have it all over! I left that testing center really discouraged, so I am more than happy with this score.

Congrats! Was this close to your comsaes (if you took any), and how were your combank/comquest averages if you don't mind sharing? No pressure to share of course!

Scored in the 510-520 range. Pretty bummed because my practice tests were around 600 there towards the end. Just happy to be done

Can I ask which practice tests you took near the end? Sorry to hear about the drop but a 510-520 is still a great score!! Congrats on being done!

Last two I took were C (550) and the combank assessment (600). So I guess I was in the standard deviation range of those tests
