Not making a fake announcement. But as per the AAMC login: The message now says the MCAT SCORES WILL BE LOADED TONIGHT. They reupdated it again.

So that being said.......this will be the thread to post your scores as it comes out.......

Here are the things I want you to fill out:

1. Your Form (If you remember):

2. Your Practice Score Range:

3. What you used to Study

4. How do you feel right now????? Ecstatic, Neutral, Disappointed, etc.

Any other comments you'd like to make.

Im not as high as most of you, but screw it, I'll post mine

PS: 7
V: 10
BS: 9
W: M
(26M)

This is pretty close to me practice scores. I took Princeton Review.

First time taking - 34P (12P, 11V, 11B)

1. DJ
2. 28-36 (33-36 AAMC's)
3. Princeton Review
4. Ecstatic about verbal, but a bit disappointed in bio since I got the same score on the first PR diagnostic without studying.

Overall, pleased. 🙂

26Q

PS: 9, V: 7(****ing piece of ****) BS: 10

How ironic: Q in writing and 7 in V. I moved to the US 5 years ago. Although my writing skills improved since i wrote a million papers in my college, I never became a good reader. U think the adcoms will take that into consideration.?

I expecting a 11 in BS and 10 in PS. Knowing from my practice tests I KNOW that I was probably 1 question away from the scores I desired. How frustrating.

How did u do gujudoc?

1.) Form BP

2.) Your Practice Score Range - 27-33

3.) AAMC 3-8. Princeton Review Books.

4.) Neutral.

With my GPA, I really wanted a higher score. I didn't study at all the last month before the MCAT, b/c I was having girl problems and decided the best way to spite the girl would be to not study for the MCAT. In retrospect, it was real stupid since I'm not with the girl and she could care less how I did on it.

Anyway, congratulations to all of you who performed well and good luck with medical school applications. To all of you who didn't make what you wanted, good luck studying and I hope you do great on the April one. I'll see y'all there 🙂

GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!! You'll get in somewhere with that score if all else is well. Just keep the hope up and try to make sure the rest of the app is strong.

Why put yourself through another round on turmoil/anxiety and waiting if you scored a 31 or 33?
I mean, I wouldn't. But good luck if you choose to do so. Congrats to everyone. My score kinda sucked, I guess I can't ignore PS....

1.) Form: dont know the form

2.) Range: 27 (first) to 38 (second to last)

3.) Took TPR, all their practice tests, and 3 recent AAMC tests with an average of 36 on them

4.) VERY disappointed. I am still asking myself how this happened. The only way I really thought I might score worse than my average was if I was nervous or having a bad day. Turned out, I was soo relaxed and confident on the test day. Really felt like it was the best test I'd had yet, and I was expecting a 36+. I feel like crying...hope i can still get in at a school I like.

What do you define as a school you like?

Only top 10??? Or top 20 to mid 20's on there too????????

Cuz if the latter scenario is true, then hell yeah, you have a chance!!!!!! Don't know about top 10 though.,

You got from 89.2–91.8 percentile! You did great! Your scores are competitive just about everywhere. You should be happy...

Thanks for the encouragement....I applied to several top 10 but also some top 20...I really liked UCSF and Stanford and I'm not a Cali resident. Maybe my 4.0 BCPM gpa and 3.98 AO will help, but I'm expecting a lot of rejections now..... 🙁

Very shocked at my bio score, I had never scored below 11 on a practice test and I thought it was easy!!

Im happy with verbal though, so I guess I'm content with my score. Not disappointed but not excited.

i got a 33R as well, and was expecting higher as well. it certainly isn't a death sentence, but some of the elite schools are closed to me now

I had CL and the Bio was CAKE. I ended up with a 10. What the hell happened??? What is up with the C_ forms??? They came straight from hell. Anyone with C_ do really well (30+)?

I never really post, but I have to ask this: Are those 9's going to look bad? I mean, I'm happy to get above a 30, but my breakdown doesn't seem that great. Any thoughts?

Congratulations everyone. I think everyone did a good job just to get through that test!!

That 13 in VR is arguably the most important score. I think you should feel great!

Hey Guju....thanks a lot. I really appreciate you e-mailing me the answers to the practice tests earlier. You're an example of why I love SDN. 🙂

33Q: 12VR, 9 PS, 12 BS

Form AG, took Kaplan, started @ 28 on diag.

I'm underwhelmed, I know I could have done better. I was really hoping for 35+.

Thanks for the reply! I know I probably shouldn't base my opinion of my score on what just one person says, but, um, I like what you said, so I'm going to!

22R. I went down. Not even gonna bother with practice ranges/my feelings etc. I guess I'll be reapplying next year as well. I'm soo depressed right now.

congrats to all of you with astronomical scores!

I don't want to give you false hope but I have heard of at least one person who made it in with a 22 about 7 years back. That said, she had all kinds of extenuating circumstances they took into account and I wouldn't be surprised if she made a fine physician.

Back on topic my scores were:

35M
VR 11
PS 13
BS 11
WR M???? I think this is like 10th percentile. Maybe they just pick it randomly? Not like I care, its just weird.

Good news for y'all I won't be applying to med school. Gotta say, the MCAT is hella harder than the DAT. Glad to have them both done.

Score: 34 M
PS - 10
VR - 11
BS - 13

1. Form: FJ
2. I used to get 34-35 on practice exams.
3. I used TBR, TPR, Kaplan, and examcrackers for VR.
4. Very disappointed at my PS score. I knew I bombed this section because I ran out of time at the end and was forced to randomly guess 5 questions. But it used to be my strongest section and I used to score 13-14. This is the lowest PS score I've ever had. 🙁 Well... I'm happy with VR and BS scores, especially VR. 😀

I hoped to get 35 or higher, but overall, I'm pretty happy with my scores.

6VR, 8PS, 11BS total of 25M

totally irritated considering i already applied AND my practice scores were higher. the only bright side to this friggin crappy story is that in april i got a 18, soooo i went up 7 points. i would b happy with the 25 except that verbal score blows arse, and how the f*** did i get an 11 in BS, and 8 in PS which PS was my strongest!?!?!??! Furthermore, i got a Q in April....i give up!

I got a 19 - O
8 in verbal
6 in physical science
and a 5 in bio

I studied a week before the test. Guess I'll have to try a little harder next time. : ) I just found your website so I'll be on here asking a bunch of questions for this next one in April. Congrats on all your scores.

Hi guys,
I finally gathered enough courage to check my scores...
August 2005 29Q 9 phy, 9 v 11 bio.
August 2004 31Q-12 phy, 6 v 13 bio
I feel neutral and a bit relieved...I had form FM and I though verbal and bio were both crazy hard. Actually, overall, i felt that the test was way harder than last year. I'm disappointed with physical...I swear, form F must have had a strict curve on the physical science section. I don't know how schools are going to look at these scores...I improved in the section that I had the most trouble with, but i lost a total of 5 points on the sciences! What do you guys think?

Wow, Im suprised how many people are willing to post their scores. It was interesting to see how other people felt so I guess I will also post too.

1. 37 o - PS 13 VS 11 BS 13
2. First was 24, last was 39
3. I had PR and EK audio osomsis
4. I'm happy with my score. I thought I was going to be really bad. I'm kinda disappointed I dropped in my sciences but can't really complain.

35O!!!

PS 13 VS 9 BS 13

1. Form - Don't know, don't care
2. 29 - 33, with one random 37
3. EK Books, paid up the yin yang for AAMC exams, also did bootleg Kaplan exams
4. Absolutely thrilled. A year ago I would have never though i'd be in the position that I am today. Don't care about the 9 in VR or the O, I know I'm going to be a doctor and that's all I care about.

I do have to admit that this site annoys me, kind of a buzz kill. I was living up the greatest natural high ever until I came on SDN and somehow got the feeling that my 35 is substandard. Oh well, still happy as heck.

35Q

PS: 11
V: 11
BS: 13

1. don't remember the form
2. AAMC practice tests 30-35, so I am happy I'm at the top of the range
3. Kaplan book and old class notes
4. I wish I've done better on PS, but oh well 🙂

good luck to everyone!
:luck:

11 Physical
8 Verbal
12 Biology
Total: 31R
Princeton Review course, EK1001 books, Kaplan tests
Range: 30-35

I'm very neutral right now, I wish i had done better 😕 Too bad i didn't get this score in APril, considering i'm now considered a "late" applicant. What do you guys think of my 8 in verbal?? Do you think that R in writing will make up for it even a little bit?

Someone please just tell me what I want to hear so i can cheer up a bit: That i will get into a U.S Medical School (I dont care which one!)

my parents are pissed at me 🙁 im moving outta my house this weekend....

Not a joke....life sucks

By the way, congrats to all those that did well. It was well deserved. To those that didnt get the score they wanted...hang in there, im right there with you. Best of luck everyone, take care.

I am so bummed and happy it's so wierd. I am way bummed cause I scored 38-40 on my AAMC tests as well as the practise Kaplan tests I took so I should have done way better... but I am happy I did not eff it up completely, as I was seriously praying for above a 24 as I was sick that day and had made a complete mess of things and had not finished (as in not even bubbled guessed) the last 4-6 in each section.

I was praying that I'd ace it (ha 😛 ha) or bomb it totally. Now I have to figure out if I should apply with such a sucky but not totally sucky score? Yesterday I told myself that I would not apply if i got below 34 and now I feel like going back on my word.

I am so happy for everyone that did well 😀 and for everyone 🙁 who did not do as well as they hoped, don't worry, go brave and apply or do it again and remember the mistakes you made. One of my best friends got a 22 and got into UVA med two years ago and is now in the MD-PhD program there. MCAT is a big factor but they are looking at other stuff.

Congrats again guys!

Total: 27R, straight 9's
Form BK
Used Exam Krackers material
Range: AAMC Full-lengths 28-33, average 31 including...
33 on AAMC 7, 31 on AAMC 8, which is supposedly hard and most similar to the actual test
Very disappointed

I did literally every question in every book that EK makes, spent over 400 hours studying this Summer, and I come out worse than my first diag.

i rather not post my scores on here cause this was my second try and sucked it up as usual. At least I improved 4 points and honestly, i do not want to take the ****in test again...i sucked it up soooo badly on the first one and improving 4 points doesn't really help me...im such an dingus who gave up maybe over $500 in stupid ass application fees...HOW THE ****ING HELL DO YOU PEOPLE MAKE A 30+ ON THE MCAT?! It's like everyone that took this august test is just too damn smart whereas i'm the dumbest person in this forum...i have noticed that nobody with the 30+ scores had the same ****ing test form as me so damn the aamc for giving me that form...i think it was BH or something like that...ugh...i dunno wat to do now...i think i'll just go to these medical schools and beg them to take me in...but just so i don't sound like a loser, congrats to you folks...you've got it made...bye bye 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁

TEST FORM: FL
AAMC practice range: 30-34
I spent about 7 weeks (plus or minus a couple days when I got really lazy) of hardcore studying right before the exam. I was putting in about 10+ hrs each day. And I used kaplan and EK, and AAMC exams...used mostly EK.

Real score is in the low range of my prediction, but I am pretty content because I never got over an 8 in verbal. At least, this way the scores are more evened out. I would have never thought I could get a 10 in verbal since that section of the test was so difficult and most of the time I didnt even know what I was reading. I would think I did better in Bio since this past year I spent doing a special masters in the medical sciences. But oh wells, I hope this score will be good enough. You guys think I got a shot this cycle since I am a late applicant?...this is only thing I feel is gonna really hurt me this time around. Hoping for the best...good luck to you all. 🙂

My sentiments exactly. I am in the same boat as you are and I do not want to write the test again, but it looks like I should. I hate you MCAT!!!!!!!

Form BN
1st time writing
PS 14, BS 11, WS Q, VR 8
Total 33Q

Very pissed bout verbal right now, no idea what the fack happened. PS and BS were pretty much exactly what i was scoring in the practice tests and what i was expecting and how it felt after i wrote it. VR i had no idea how it went after writing, but that was the same as all my practice tests too, was averaging 35-37 on my practice tests, only difference between those and the real thing was my 8 VR compared to consistent 10s and 11s on all practice tests. This fackin blows cuz up here in canada there's overall score cutoffs as well as minimums in each section, and i guarantee most of em won't accept an 8 in verbal.

was hopin for around a 36 total, whatever, i could live with a 33, but that VR score is ass, very pissed right now.....

score: 25P (8 PS, 8 VR, 9 BS)

1. form BG
2. practice score range 29-32
3. used kaplan
4. feel like poo (v. disappointed). no horrible scores in any 1 section but not good either!

i did the kaplan online course and studied like a madman every day this summer. everyone i knew expected me to get a high score b/c they thought there was no way i could have been better prepared. argh, i am so frustrated.

Writing sample: Q

Total score: 28Q

1. Your Form (If you remember): BT

2. Your Practice Score Range: 23-28

3. What you used to Study: Kaplan

4. How do you feel right now????? :scared: really confused--I honestly don't know if I should retake the test or not. It was my first time around, but it makes me sick just thinking about doing that test again. I don't know how competitive a 28Q will be. Anyone know what I can do in addition to this score (such as on my resume/application) to make me more competitive? Re-take worth it? Any and all advice is very appreciated.

Any other comments you'd like to make: First time, and congrats to everyone who worked hard.

My score: 32S first time!

1. Your Form (If you remember): i don't

2. Your Practice Score Range: 28, 29, 33

3. What you used to Study an ebay motley: but mostly EK, Kaplan, and Princeton Review books. no course.

4. How do you feel right now: I feel pretty good!!! Trying not to get envy wondering what all these 38, 39 people did. I don't think I'll take it again. it had been a long time since i'd had most of the courses on the test too, so i was happy with my breakdown, 10 PS, 10 Bio, 12 verbal and S for essays. I was glad also because a couple of funny things happened during the test 1) we had a testing irregularity b/c our proctor called time early on a section, i hit my head on a metal rack in the classroom when i went to get my lunch and 3) i didn't realize physical sciences came first, i was ready for verbal.

for those retaking, don't give up! i registered for the first time in 1997 and didn't even take it. now here i am, 8 (gulp) years later and i did it!!! i won't be going to harvard, but i think i got a solid score and i am happy. 😀
