This is the official countdown thread for the August 2006 MCAT score release. Scores are supposed to be released on October 14th.

yeah.... I blanked out completely on the form letters the other day... but good old B.G. jogged my memory

Anyone else have form JT? I remembered it because it was like Jonathan Taylor Thomas (JTT for those of you in the know) without one of his T's.

I had BG. What'd everyone think of that form? I thought Phys was pretty easy, verbal wasn't bad, and bio was tough. What made bio even worse was that the proctor announced "45 minutes left" when there was 50. He realized the mistake later and we ended up getting the right amount of time, but it definitely got my mind racing about what to do.......would he realize his mistake? should I say something? should I just hurry up? Is my watch off? That definitely messed with me, but I don't think it affected my score too much.

i checked the Aprils test's score release thread and they got their scores the night before at 10PM so is it a good guess we'll get it then?

Yep, I'm from the GA. I dont know about the how easy it is to get in GA schools compared to FL schools. I have two friends that matriculated into mercer last year and they had outstanding stats.

A club I'm an officer in is having a pizza and movie party @ 5:30 so I'm guessing this will be over around 7:30-8:00. I'll be having my g/f check periodically during that time.

Afterwards, I'm going home to play the waiting game in my recliner. Probably watch my saved shows from the week to pass the time. Depending on the time and score, I might go hit up a party or host my own.

In the recliner?? Relaxing huh?? I won't be able to relax. i think I'll be a tight ball of nerves.

i have a huge test thurs im soo behind and cannot focus.........after that ill be going to class, lab, shadowing, and day dreamimg.
Im not actually checking my scores, my mother is checking it for me.

well to waste time when i should be studying for the test im not ready for, i finally made an mdapps profile with a 0 MCAT score🙂 I think I would rather have a 0 then the score I'm about to get🙁 🙁 🙁
I told my mom not to tell me my score if Im not going to like it.

I made an MDapps to waste time, too. Btw, I'm the first to leave a comment on your profile, lol! 😀 Mine is pretty random and has nothing actually written down that is of value.

How come the mdapps aren't in your signatures? I think I'm going to make one the night I get my scores, unless I'm so depressed I can't bring myself to do it.

ill probably be watchin TV and constantly refreshing the page...i hope they come out on thursday that way I dont like I have to play the waiting game all day friday...oh yeah ill probably stop sleeping next week from the anxiety...but life will go on...

I've been doing a lot of live poker actually. My friends and I have no school, no jobs (well I just got one), so we just hang out and play. When I use a site it's Pokerstars, but I haven't played it for awhile.

I log into THx for fun. I check it almost as compulsively as my email. Good stress relief...maybe...

I also have a list of schools i will withdraw from, and another list of schools i will add applications to depending on what my score is. Anyone else think through this yet? It sucks to consider submiting a primary application to a school in october though...ahh its getting late

I don't think I have the guts to do that... at least without checking SDN first for 1 million "OMG Scores are out!" posts. On the off chance they're posted early, I'd be completely blindsided 😱 (the scores are right there, as soon as you log in).

So I checked Thx this morning and... It was really slow... took a full 3 or 4 seconds to load. You know, sometimes that means there is MORE to load. But, no. I must admit that it was a tense 3 seconds though... :scared:
