haven't seen this around so i guess i'll start it.

received word on acceptance today. draw back is that they want an answer in 3 weeks with a $500 deposit. sux. hope this helps.

I received an acceptance today as well. I applied March 13, completed the application a week or so after that. Now they're giving me two weeks to decide if I want to commit, and they do want $500 for the deposit. It's a tough decision because I have an onsite job interview in three weeks and I'm leaning towards taking the job and applying in 2008 instead of the SMP route. So I want to find out if I can give them the $500 and get it back when I find out the decision regarding my candidacy for the job.. as I imagine it won't take that long and UC is accepting applications until June 1st (according to the website).

Anyone here waitlisted or anything like that for UC? I'm waiting for Georgetown SMP to get back to me as well. But I think I would take the job over both if I do get a job offer.

I have been trying to get in touch with Karen C. for two weeks now...i am truly frustrated..ive left two messages, 3 emails and called about 5 other times...does anybody know whats up with this?

if you read the letter carefully, it states that they will refund the $500 back to you as long as they are able to fill your spot.
