Official Dr. Cuts Love Thread

There has been a lot of Dr. Cuts love on this forum lately. PM-writers turned to well-wishers, well-wishers to fans, fans formed fan clubs, and the latest rumors have it that there are full-fledged Dr. Cuts groupies who hang out in remote corners of the forum and throw lacy unmentionables in his direction.

This thread is reserved space for those wanting to tell Dr. Cuts how great he is and how much they love him. (Please take this tongue-in-cheek, people. I'm not hatin' on Cuts or being sarcastic. It's all good fun.)

One member PM'd me with the request that there be a "smiley face throwing a bra" icon added to the Smilies section.

I've always rooted for the underdog. And he's going for rads, so it doubles the excitement for me. I have known several people who have struggled to get into radiology (for differing reasons, ie late apps, switching fields, applying during very tough years with not so stellar numbers, limiting themselves geographically, etc) only to turn out to be some of the best radiologist (and people) I have met.


Adversity seems to bring out the best in some folks. Those are the people that I admire.

i gotta admit i love the guy too...with a mullet like that, he will always be popular. besides, he is a former eastern bloc brother, and we communists have to stick together.

i just wonder how he got the name Dr. Cuts...it says surgery to me, not radiology...i have a feeling he got it from excess intestinal methane production and evacuation!

some better names for rads...Dr. NukeNuts, Dr. GlowinLove...i dunno, there has gotta be some other ideas, but i am not as clever as the rest of you.

Thanks guys... I'm touched (and pressured😉). Formerly Cuts, when I tried to change my SDN accounts e-mail addy a while back, quite a snafu occured and I couldn't retrieve the new password they sent out. Hence, the only thing I could do was register under a new handle. Optimistic that I would someday graduate, I prefaced Cuts with the venerable Dr. Cuts itself is a reference to my incredible muscular definition and year round body fat % in the negatives. Appreciate the well wishes. Either way, I'll post how my destiny unfolds next week.

One thing that always fascinated me about Dr. Cuts.....

He always keeps his cool!

I've seen two thread in particular where people were getting really personal and nasty towards Dr. C. One was a caribbean vs. DO thread and one was a thread where probably 4 current residents were ripping him for applying to diffrent specialties.

He never bitched back! He even congratulated people on their views. Not in a loser way, either. Just in a it's-a-free-world-think-what-you-like way.

Dr Cuts brings a new spin on turning the other cheek, seriously.

(why he would waste a medical education on becoming a dark-room geek, I'm not sure 😉 )
