My point is that the timing of the thread, prior to dental school, ups the D bag factor 10 fold (perhaps more).

If being a gunner is, by definition, for D bags then perhaps we should rename the thread "Aspiring D bags" (Which, I am sure you will agree, is far more troubling than actually being a gunner/D bag.)

My trouble is not with gunners, or even D bags, as even the most polished person can occasionally engage in D bag behaviors. My problem is with the timing of the thread (prior to dental school) and the status of the initial poster (predent).

I just wanted to lend my opinion to the proceedings.

I would also like to add that I understand my insistence that Dr. Reo is somewhat of a D-bag for starting this thread may indicate that I may have a gunner gene; damn it.
